With Akvo Flow app you can collect data fully offline. When in the field you submit the data, that remains in the submitted state, on your device. But how do you then get it to Flow to be added to your data set? Either you connect to the Internet and the submissions sync automatically, or you bulk upload the data.
With the 2.5.0 version of the app we improved how we store data on your device to a secure private folder. With the 2.5.0 version of the Flow app, we now store your data in a private folder not accessible by connecting your device to a computer or browsing the files via the My files app on your Android device. Furthermore, if you delete data from your Flow app or uninstall the app, all the data will also be removed from your device. (To read more on where we store your data, check this article.)
This change affects how you bulk upload data. In this article we first share with you the steps you need to take in detail. You can also follow the steps on your online workspace in the Bulk upload tab. Below you can also find some answers to some frequently asked questions too.
